Ok so this is for questions about birds.

Stick to the rules.

And I have a question.

About the size of a cage for a Cockatel,( or how ever you spell it)

How big should it be?

With and length wise?

and Hight wise?

The general rule of thumb minimum size cage for a cockatiel is 20x 20" wide by 26" tall.Bigger is almost always better when it comes to cage size though.

Please make sure that the cage bars arnt spaced to far apart! It is something a lot of people forget to think about and it is very dangerous for your bird if they can stick their head out. smile

Bar spacing for cockatiels should be no more than 1/2" apart .Also make sure there are no places on the cage where a toe or other body part can get trapped. Some cages have doors that are poorly designed and can pose a hazard for instance. This also holds true for toys.
